Carden Academy granted accreditation

Carden Academy of Huntington Beach was granted a six-year term accreditation by the Western Assn. of Schools and Colleges on Aug. 17.

The association accredits public and private schools in California, Hawaii and other Western territories.

“This is one of the greatest honors our school has ever received — perhaps the greatest honor ever,” said Carol Van Asten, director of the academy, in a release.

“We’re so proud. We’re walking on cloud nine.”
